To begin using Roboto, you can [create a free account](https://app.roboto.ai/signup) with your email address.

After signing up, you'll have the option to create either an **Individual** or **Team** account. Choose **Team** if you plan to invite others to collaborate within your account. You can also assign a name to your account for easy identification later.

## Overview

After you [login](https://app.roboto.ai/signin) to your Roboto account, you can explore the platform.

Here are some of the key pages you'll find in the navigation sidebar:

### Home

The first page you encounter after logging in, the **Home** page offers a summary of recent activity in your account. For example, it shows recently created [datasets](/docs/learn/concepts#datasets-section) and any [actions](/docs/learn/concepts#actions-section) that have been run.

### Search

The **Search** page enables you to find data stored in Roboto. By default, a table of your [datasets](/docs/learn/concepts#datasets-section) is displayed, but you can adjust the search target to [files](/docs/learn/concepts#files-section), [topics](/docs/learn/concepts#topics-section) and [message paths](/docs/learn/concepts#topics-section) as well.

To run more advanced search queries, change the search mode from **Basic** to **RoboQL**. See the [RoboQL](/docs/roboql/overview) guide for more information.

### Collections

The **Collections** page shows groups of datasets and other resources. Collections can be used to organize your data in a way that makes sense to you. For example, you might create a collection that contains data from several recent missions that need to be reviewed. Learn more at [Collection](/docs/learn/concepts#collections-section).

### Actions

The **Actions** page enables you to run code on data in Roboto. Actions can be used to process, transform and analyze data, either manually or automatically. They can range from straightforward data transformations to more sophisticated algorithms. Learn more at [Action](/docs/learn/concepts#actions-section).

### Action Hub

The **Action Hub** page shows actions that have been published by Roboto and are freely available to run on your own datasets. Unlike your own private actions, they are visible to all Roboto users.

### Settings

The **Settings** page enables you to configure your account, monitor your usage and invite others to your team.

You can also create access tokens for [Programmatic Access](/docs/getting-started/programmatic-access) to Roboto.
