Hi everyone!

It's been an incredibly busy conference season with RoboBusiness and ROSCon in October, and we just got back from the Linux Foundation's PX4 Developer Summit in Atlanta! If you’re new to it, PX4 is the world’s most widely used open-source autopilot, maintained by a global community of engineers, researchers, and drone companies.

This year’s summit brought together an amazing mix of people: core PX4 maintainers, researchers, autopilot manufacturers, and teams building drones for delivery, inspection, defense, and more. It was also a chance to reconnect with friends from Modal AI, ARK Electronics, Ascend Engineering, Holybro, and many others who make the PX4 community what it is.

As silver sponsors, we were proud to support the PX4 community and the incredible work happening across the ecosystem. We’ve been part of the PX4 world for a long time, several of us have been using PX4 since our Amazon Prime Air days back in 2014, but this was our first time presenting at the conference.

PX4 logs contain an enormous amount of data, but digging through them manually can take hours and often requires expert knowledge. Our talk, Accelerating PX4 Flight Review with AI, walked through how AI-generated summaries and automated health checks can dramatically speed up flight investigations. We showed how automated post-processing can highlight issues like sensor clipping, GPS glitches, and estimator anomalies in minutes.

We also walked through a real crash investigation to show how AI surfaces root causes quickly and shared how aggregating insights across many flights can reveal fleet-wide trends that would be nearly impossible to spot through manual review alone.

To close out the session, we gave a sneak preview of our new AI agent that can debug PX4 logs agentically using our SDK, something we’re incredibly excited to share more about soon.

We had a blast at our booth as well. So many teams stopped by to talk about log workflows, data pipelines, and how they need to scale flight review as they grow. It was great to see how much momentum there is around the broader PX4 ecosystem.

Huge thanks to Ramón Roche for organizing, and everyone who attended our talk, came by the booth, or just said hi in the hallway. Check out the official recap of the summit too. We’re already looking forward to seeing you all again at the next one. See below for a few photos!
